. do not use LM358. LM358 AMF - MS 0.2V . I tried to connect the output of LM35 to analog pins of arduino but I can't get anything. If a 12V voltage is dropped across a 1K resistor, then 12V / 1K = 1A of current flows through the resistor. The LM35 circuit will measure this current. It is analogue, so it doesn't require a microcontroller. To read the LM35's output, you need to use a current sink resistor. Add a 100K resistor from the power supply to GND. Connect this to the top of the LM35 and a diode between the bottom of the LM35 and GND. Finally, connect the bottom of the LM35 to the bottom of the diode.
